06 / TESTING & DELIVERY
HMI Testing, Inspection & Delivery
From keypad and touch response to final inspection, we verify the assembled HMI against the agreed project requirements and prepare the product and records for delivery.
Complete Assembly → Functional Verification → Final Inspection → Delivery
01 / KEYPAD FUNCTION
Every key checked against its intended function.
Test the physical keys on the complete HMI with the specified power and interfaces connected. Check that each input produces the response defined in the key map.
- Operate each fitted key and confirm its assigned response
- Check press and release behaviour using the agreed procedure
- Record unexpected, missing or repeated inputs for review
The key map and acceptance criteria are agreed for the product configuration.

02 / TP TOUCH FUNCTION
Check touch response across the screen.
Verify the touch panel on the assembled HMI using the agreed test interface. Check input recognition across the required areas, including positions near the edges.
- Check touch position against the displayed targets
- Review tracking continuity along the agreed test paths
- Check multi-touch or gestures where specified
Testing is performed for the selected controller, settings and project requirements.

03 / ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING
Verify performance under the agreed conditions.
High- and low-temperature testing is defined for the project. Set the temperature profile, exposure time, powered or unpowered state, and acceptance criteria before the test.
- Confirm the applicable test profile for the assembly
- Perform the agreed checks before and after exposure
- Record test conditions, observations and findings
The test profile is agreed for each assembly; it is separate from a universal product operating-temperature rating.
04 / INGRESS PROTECTION
IP65 verified by third-party testing.
The tested HMI configuration passed third-party IP65 testing, with certification documentation available on request.
- IP6X: dust-tight protection
- IPX5: protection against water jets
- Certification applies to the configuration covered by the document
The clips show water-test activity. The certification documentation defines the tested product and scope.

05 / FINAL VERIFICATION
Review the complete assembly, beyond the controls.
Bring the electrical, optical and mechanical checks together against the approved drawings and inspection criteria.
Display & optical quality
Check display operation using the agreed patterns. Review visible image defects, surface condition and the optical viewing area.
Cables & interfaces
Verify the specified connections and interface functions. Review connector retention and cable routing against the assembly requirements.
Dimensions & assembly fit
Check specified dimensions, mounting points, enclosure fit and fixing condition against the approved drawing.
Appearance & inspection records
Record the final appearance check and inspection results. Resolve outstanding findings and confirm the release status.
DELIVERY PACKAGE
Protect the assembly. Keep the records connected.
Release and package the accepted assembly according to the project requirements. Keep the applicable product documents and identification with the delivery.
